About Us

Proudly serving the West Gippsland community for over 90 years, the Warragul & District Greyhound Racing Club has been a hub for racing excitement since its first race meeting on 30 December 1935.

Over the years, the club has evolved, moving locations and even racing on a short straight track before settling at Logan Park, 19 Howitt Street, Warragul, Victoria 3820

Our facilities and shared with many other local user groups. We support all community and sporting groups through-out the Gippsland Region.

We are committed to our location until June 2031, with two options to extend, with support from our local council, the Shire of Baw Baw.

We have a lease agreement with our supportive Shire, and we continue to work with them to secure our future beyond 2031

Meals and food are available on Race Events 1 hour prior to the start time of Race 1.

Racing

The Warragul & District Greyhound Racing Club is located at Logan Park Showgrounds on South Road, Warragul—approximately 100 kilometres east of Melbourne, within the Baw Baw Shire.

The club’s origins date back to 1949, when the first meetings to establish the Warragul & District Greyhound Racing Club were held. Since then, the club has grown into a premier provincial racing venue.

Racing at Warragul is conducted over distances of 400m, 460m, and 680m.
