We are just days away from the opening night of the Sportsbet Dream Chasers Festival.
Box draws have been finalised for the three Group 1 features which will kick off the festival in style at The Meadows on Saturday night.
Sky Racing form expert Michael Tye shared his early thoughts following the draw.
“I don’t like the wide draws for the Victorians in the Topgun,” Tye said.
“They are probably the losers in this draw.”
Tye admits he keeps coming back to Sooty Keeping.
“Mallee Beauty and Eriza Sparkles are going to explode out, and there’s a chance of some bumping. Sooty Keeping might be the one on the rail and at a price.”
In the Topgun Stayers, Tye is siding with Ethanol Water from box eight.
“Late Night News is slow early and Ayden’s Warrior could be doing a lot of the grunt work carving across to the fence – so where that leaves Without A Trace probably isn’t ideal.”
The three Group 1’s will headline the opening night of the Sportsbet Dream Chasers Festival this Saturday at The Meadows.
