Warragul & District Greyhound Racing Club Behavioral Expectations
Our staff and participants have a responsibility to behave in a professional manner and to always treat each other with respect. Verbal abuse, humiliating others, and physical or verbal intimidation will not be tolerated at our club. Any person that acts in a way that we consider unacceptable during our trial sessions will be suspended from trialing and attendance at our venue.

TRIAL SESSIONS AVAILABILITY AND STRUCTURE (Scheduled Sessions):
All bookings for Wednesday and Friday Arm Trials are to be booked on Fasttrack
Trial sessions open on Fasttrack @ 2:00pm each Tuesday and Thursday (Day prior to session)
NB: THERE IS NO GUARANTEE THAT YOUR TRIAL WILL BE RUN AFTER A TRACK SWEEP REGARDLESS OF BOOKING/TIME SLOT
December 3rd, 2025 onwards (during summer months and potentially beyond), WGRC will be allowing vehicles to enter the Harness track (top section of the track) this will be restricted to trial days only.
Entry to the track will be via the double gate near the Harness judges tower on north side of track.
Exit will be via the gate near the puppy boxes on south side of track.
Witches hats will be in place for guidance.
Applies only to trainers with more than two (2) dogs. Checking in with track staff will be required to minimise confusion.
Trainers must go to trial car park area near wash bays to confirm attendance and receive direction from track staff to go onto the track in their vehicle.
Maximum of five (5) vehicles (car/van with trailer is one (1) vehicle) allowed on track at any one time, this will be overseen by track staff.
TRIAL SESSION TIMES
$12-50 for a solo trial, $5-00 for a half field dog position

Satisfactory Trials are generally best to be booked on a Thursday after the Races i.e. – post race meeting trial sessions
Trial booking procedure:
All trials can be booked online via FastTrack (Arm Trials), and by calling our office (Post Race Field Trials).

Tuesday After the Races
Booking opening times for Tuesday via booking at the Office opening 9:30am on the same day of Racing.
Any queries and after the races arm trials must be booked by contacting the office on (03) 5623 1867 after 9:30am
Trials available are handslips, puppy boxes, 400, 460 and 680 metre starts will be offered.
Trials are limited to ten (10) trials after the last and three (3) trials per participant.
Payments are to be made in full by Race 1 of the day. Non-receipt of payment, trials will be cancelled.
Catching Pen Trial Session
Thursday After the Races
Booking opening times for Thursday via booking at the Office opening 9:30am on the same day of Racing.
Any queries and after the races arm trials must be booked by contacting the office on (03) 5623 1867 after 9:30am
Trials available are hand slips, puppy boxes, 400, 460 and 680 metre starts will be offered.
Trials are limited to five (5) x half field trials and twenty (20) solo trials after the last with a limit of three (3) trials per participant.
Payments are to be made in full by Race 1 of the day. Non-receipt of payment, trials will be automatically cancelled.
Arm trial sessions
Wednesday: 10:30am – 3:55pm
All booked via Fasttrack opening on Tuesday 2:00pm split into two (2) sessions.
Track distances offered are hand slips, puppy boxes, 400, 460, & 680 distances.
Payment for Arm trials is due by 9:30am on the day (Wednesday of Trialing) failure to pay, the trials will be cancelled.
Payments are only accepted by Credit Card – No cash payments are accepted at the club office.

Arm trial sessions
Friday: 10:30am – 3:15pm
All booked via Fasttrack opening on Thursday 2:00pm, one (1) session.
Track distances offered are hand slips, puppy boxes, 400, 460, & 680 distances.
Payment for Arm trials is due by 9:30am on the day (Friday of Trialing) failure to pay, the trials will be cancelled.
Payments are only accepted by Credit Card – No cash payments are accepted at the club office

GRV are notified each week, two weeks in advance, of variations to trial scheduling due to maintenance, track harrowing schedule. Please check Fasttrack dashboard for all notifications.
