The Warragul & District Greyhound Racing Club is saddened to hear the sad news of long-time “Life Member” Mr William “Alan” Fairlie, known to everyone as Alan.
Alan passed away yesterday (7th July 2025) at the grand age of 96 after many decades being involved in the Greyhound Racing Industry.
Alan made efforts to stay in contact with our club, with his consistent attendance at Annual General Meetings and other special events, always genuinely asking how the club was going.
On behalf of our club committee, management, and members, we wish to pass on our deepest sympathy to Alan’s family during these difficult times.
